Accessibility

How we make this website work for everyone, and how to get help if something is hard to use.

Last reviewed October 13, 2026.

Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control or a keyboard only. We built the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we did

  • Larger, easy-to-read type and high color contrast throughout.
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
  • Headings, labels and image descriptions are written for screen readers.
  • Pages work on phones without sideways scrolling, and with text enlarged up to 200 percent.
  • We test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand before we publish changes.

Known limits

  • Our patient forms are hosted by Jotform, a HIPAA-compliant form service. We set them up for accessibility, but some parts of the form controls are managed by Jotform.
  • Links to other services, such as RxLocal for refills or a map, follow those companies' accessibility practices.
