What happened to the prescriptions you wrote

Most practices never find out whether a prescription was picked up, let alone refilled. We report it back.

Metric

Fill rate

Of what you sent, how much was actually dispensed.

Metric

Time to therapy

Days from your transmission to the patient having it in hand.

Metric

Refill persistence

How many patients are still on therapy at 90 and 180 days.

Metric

Abandonment reasons

Cost, coverage, or the patient decided against it. Named, not guessed.

Why abandonment is the useful number

A prescription that is never picked up looks identical in your chart to one the patient is taking daily. The reporting separates them, and tells you which of the three reasons applied. Cost is fixable. Coverage is appealable. A patient who decided against the therapy is a conversation at the next visit.

How you get it

Practices receive a recurring summary at whatever interval is useful, monthly for most. Larger groups can have it broken out by physician or by site.

On patient privacy. Reporting to a practice covers that practice's own patients, under the treatment and health care operations provisions that already govern your relationship with a dispensing pharmacy. We do not sell patient data.

Send one script. That is the whole evaluation.

With the patient’s choice of pharmacy confirmed, send a prescription to OnPoint. We help coordinate coverage questions and refill follow-up with your office.
